Solo Time

 There is a plethora of pros and cons when heading out into the woods alone. The biggest con is not being able to share an incredible experience with someone else. Every trip reveals something that you haven't seen before and after it's over there is a feeling of "I wish someone was here to experience that". But if you can get over not having someone with you, there is a lot of positives that come with hunting or fishing alone.

I had a 3 day weekend in April and decided to head to Healdsburg by myself for a turkey hunt. There is nothing better than turkey season in Northern California. Everything is green, oak trees are full of leaves and the weather getting warm. It's amazing. I didn't really know this property that well, I had to scout and figure out where the birds were and where they were going the first day.
