The Pladra Fit Guide

Pladra is committed to building the best shirts in the business. Below you will find our Fit Guide as well as instructions on how to measure for the best fit

HOW TO MEASURE FOR THE PERFECT FIT

We build our shirts with a slight taper to achieve a modern, athletic cut that is not as fitted as a slim fit, but not as wide as the classic outdoor boxy fit. Not only are our shirts engineered with enough room to cast a fly rod or hike with ease, but also tailored to go from the boardroom to the bar. We’ve worked tremendously hard on men's and women's patterns to achieve the optimum utilitarian fit for your urban and outdoor lifestyle.

All of our flannel shirts are made from 100% cotton, which means they will shrink when using a dryer on high heat. While we recommend washing in cold water and drying at a low setting, we know that sometimes that can be easy to forget. As a result, we took into account this fabric shrinkage when designing our patterns, making the shirts slightly larger so that after the first wash it's the exact size you were looking for. An unwashed Pladra may be big and long. When machine dried, shirts on average shrink up to 1/2" - 1" in length a 1/4" - 1/2" in width.
