The Workhorse Shirt is our most classic flannel that is ideal for all seasons.  We use a heavyweight and premium 2-ply cotton yarn in our signature Portuguese flannel fabric that is not only insanely soft, but incredibly durable.  This shirt was built for the outdoors, but it is so versatile that you will have a hard time not wearing it on a daily basis. Whether you are camping, chopping firewood out back, or headed into the city, the Workhorse flannel has you covered.

  • Fabric:   100% cotton mid-weight lightly brushed Portuguese flannel - 180 g/m2 (5.3 oz)
  • Fit: Slightly tapered, active fit through body. Standard fit through chest and sleeves. 
  • Nature Print Liner: Wolf print under cuffs, collar and back yoke.
  • Construction Details: Triple needle stitching at shoulders and back yoke; reinforced chest pockets with button flap closures, sleeves and cuffs; clean internal fell stitching; matching plaid lines throughout body

Out Of Sight Wildlife Scenes

The signature feature on every Pladra Flannel is an artist’s wildlife scene that appears subtly out of sight on the underside of the cuffs and collar as well as on the inner yoke. Reproduced from authentic wildlife art, these nature scenes will bring back memories of your

We capture color schemes from outdoor inspiration, or wildlife itself, and bring them to life through our custom plaid designs. Beyond Tough Construction

The life of a garment is largely
determined by the quality of the construction. That’s why we use an interlocking fell stitch on all side seams and triple-needle stitching on shoulder seams to maximize garment durability. Flat fell stitching on the inside eliminates any chance for irritation. Bottom line: a Pladra is made to last and to hand down through the generations.
