Fabric: 100% cotton midweight brushed Portuguese flannel - 196g/m2 (5.8 oz.)

Our custom designed, premium Portuguese mid-weight flannel is not only incredibly soft and comfortable, but durably woven for extended use. We slightly brush the fabric face for a classic hand feel and triple brush the interior for added warmth and softness.

Care: We recommend machine washing in cold water with like colors on a gentle cycle. Do not bleach. Hang dry or tumble dry low.

And we're proud to say this line was built without sacrificing any of the quality and details that make a Pladra shirt one of a kind, using the same premium fabrics and construction details as our adult shirts.  
  • Fabric:  100% cotton heavyweight lightly brushed Portuguese flannel - 200 g/m2
  • Fit: These shirts run a bit big, so we recommend sizing down.  For example, if you are looking to get a 4T, we recommend ordering a 3T.
  • Nature Print Liner: Elk print under cuffs, collar and back yoke.
  • Construction Details: Triple needle stitching at shoulders and back yoke; reinforced chest pockets, sleeves and cuffs; clean internal fell stitching; matching plaid lines throughout body; durable snap closure at center front placket

The signature feature on every Pladra Flannel is an artist’s wildlife scene that appears subtly out of sight on the underside of the cuffs and collar as well as on the inner yoke. Custom Patterns Inspired By Nature

The plaid design on virtually every other flannel shirt is selected by the shirt maker from a catalog of pre-existing fabric samples. Not Pladra. We capture color schemes from outdoor inspiration, or wildlife itself, and bring them to life through our custom plaid designs. The result is an authentic, true-to-nature look that you won’t find anywhere else.

Beyond Tough Construction

The life of a garment is largely
determined by the quality of the construction. That’s why we use an interlocking fell stitch on all side seams and triple-needle stitching on shoulder seams to maximize garment durability. Flat fell stitching on the inside eliminates any chance for irritation. Bottom line: a Pladra is made to last and to hand down through the generations.
